Yelena Biberman-Ocakli and Christopher Mann, associate professors of political science, published "The Effects of State Presence on the Mental Mapping of Security: Evidence from an Experiment in Kashmir鈥 in . 

Ruben Castillo, assistant professor of studio art, will present on his current scholarship at the University of California, Berkeley, as part of the Art Practice Department's .

Joseph Cermatori, associate professor of English, discussed his recent book, 鈥淏aroque Modernity,鈥 in an hosted by the interdisciplinary humanities journal Modernism/modernity. His interlocutor for the event was Professor Emmelyn Butterfield-Rosen of New York University, discussing her own recent book, 鈥淢odern Art and the Remaking of Human Disposition.鈥
